Experience

Hello, my name is Matthew. I currently live in Minnesota…even though I highly dislike the bitter cold winters. I’ve got too many things I love doing and I am always picking up new hobbies and learning new things.

Currently I’m working as a Quality/Automation Engineer for Securian Financial. I have a wide array of experience as a Quality Engineer in industries such as Video Games, Medical, Over-the-Road Trucking, Part Manufacturing, Social Media, NFTs and Blockchain, and now Insurance.

In 2019 I started a podcast with a few friends called Campfire Gaming Podcast where we talked about video games. At the end of 2022 we decided to end the podcast but you can still listen to old episodes, maybe it’ll be back in the future.

As you can tell one of my big passions is Video Games, I went to school and earned a B.S. in Game Design and Development from Brown College in Minnesota. I’ve tested a ton of Nintendo games during my time at Activision, developed 2 mobile games in the Unity Engine, and I am now learning Unreal Engine 5. Oh, I also love playing video games as well.
